Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu took part in the ‘Midnight’ celebrations organized by the government here on Monday (December 22, 2025).
On the occasion, he announced that the monthly honorarium for December 2024-November 2025 amounting to ₹ 51 crore will be credited to the bank accounts of 8,427 pastors on 24 December. An amount of ₹30 crore has been paid for May to November 2024.
He called on all to remember the sacrifices of Jesus Christ and follow the path he showed, saying the government was committed to the welfare of Christians. The Chief Minister said that Christian organizations provide commendable services to the needy and transform the lives of millions of people through their activities.
Minister for Minority Affairs N. Md. was among those present. Farooq, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath and MLA Gadde Rammohan.
