Governor S. Abdul Nazeer on Sunday (January 25) greeted the people on the eve of the 77th Republic Day. In a statement issued from Lok Bhavan, Mr. Abdul Nazeer said that Republic Day is a day to remember the sacrifices of great freedom fighters who made it possible for everyone to enjoy the fruits of freedom. “January 26 is a day of rededication to the noble ideals of truth, non-violence, peace, solidarity and universal brotherhood that inspired our national freedom struggle,” the governor said.
