Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Sunday condoled the death of playback singer Asha Bhosle. A Lok Bhavan post on social media quoted the governor as saying: “Deeply saddened by the passing away of legendary playback singer Tmt.Asha Bhosle, whose timeless voice enriched Indian music and touched millions of hearts across generations. Her unique contribution to the world of music will forever remain an inspiration. Heartfelt condolences to her friends and peace to her family.”
