Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Alelekar deviated from conventions on Wednesday to deal with a special session of the Senate of Keral University, which was convened to present the fiscal budget 2025-26.
A few days ago, the Chancellor of State University made a similar visit to the University of Calicut to attend the Senate meeting there.
When Mr. Alekar addressed the Senate of the University of Keral University, he emphasized the need to tear off the colonial heritage, which she believes that he continues to form the country’s attitude to learning.
He pointed out that the education system still retains elements of its colonial past, a system designed to produce individuals who are trained to work for large corporations rather than create their own opportunities. On the other hand, traditional Indian education was concentrated around the support of self -confidence and business spirit. Unlike the current system, which they believe is the tendency to create job seekers, the governor emphasized the importance of creating job creators.
Mr. Alekar emphasized the need for university education to support self -confidence by providing importance for business. Universities should align their curriculum and infrastructure to better equip students for challenges of creating their own businesses.
National educational policy provided pressure on business and educational reforms aimed at allowing students to become innovators and jobs. He pointed out that such efforts could also help reduce students’ migration from the state.
He also dealt with interest in drug abuse among young people. ARLEKAR emphasized the importance of consciousness as a tool in the fight against the threat of narcotics, and encouraged the university to propose that a day against the drugstore to ensure that students remain informed of the dangers of drugs.
