Resources point out that the meeting could also accept the need to observe the uniform academic calendar for admission processes and tests carried out by universities. There could also be other problems in the discussions, including the occupation of unoccupied teaching positions and the review of the appointment of allegedly executed in violation of the Commission for University Grants (UGC).
Strengthen the role of the governor
This step is perceived by various quarters in the continuing efforts to strengthen the role of the governor as the Chancellor in the University Affairs.
