The shooting broke out at Lexington Blue Grass Airport around Sunday 11:40 pm, which caused panic when travelers walked through the terminal ride. Witnesses reported that after shooting Kentucky State Trooper, dozens of police cars and ambulances rushed to the scene.
The suspect fled immediately and left the injured soldier with serious injuries. The airport officials temporarily closed the roads and the terminal, although the flights were later renewed normally.
