Federation of employees and workers Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) and Federation staff demanded protests and gates meetings on all depots throughout the State of June 19 to oppose the state government decision to increase working hours to 10 hours a day and allow women to work in night shifts.
On Sunday he spoke at the Federation State Committee in the Guntur, his state president Ch. Sundaraaaiah and Secretary General M. Ayyapp Reddy expressed concern about government “opposing policies” and stated that they were involved in the national protest call provided by the Joint Action Committee of employees and trade union staff.
The Federation leaders demanded that the government to introduce 1/2019 on the security of the conductor’s job, cancel the Host Host clauses in Go No. 70 and paid all the waiting fees to employees and workers. They also demanded the immediate institute of the Commission for Revision of the Reward (PRC) and the announcement of the Provisional Relief (IR).
The Federation decided to organize its State Conference on June 27 in Vijayawada to discuss issues affecting conductors and other employees. The leaders also announced plans to organize 13th October in Tirupati on October 13 in Tirupati and organize training courses in July in July.
They urged APSRTC management to discuss and solve problems affecting employees and workers, and demanded the deployment of new buses, recruitment of drivers, conductors and mechanics and payments of all waiting fees.
