The government on Monday, May 26, 2025) will present a new “Bharat prediction system” that will allow the Office to provide more accurate and located forecasts for the weather authority.

BFS can provide forecasts of 6 km resolution for a tropical area that falls between 30 degrees south and 30 degrees of northern width. The Indian mainland extends between 8.4 degrees north and 37.6 degrees in the north.
According to Mr. Ravicandran, global predictions operated by European, British and American weather offices between 9 km and 14 km.
