The Treasury Department said that contractors and suppliers who contract with state entities will be given additional time and will not face penalties if their work is disrupted due to ongoing situation in West Asiaaccording to an official memorandum.
In an office memorandum issued by the Department of Expenditure, the government clarified that delays caused by these disruptions will be dealt with under the “force majeure” clause, which allows for assistance in “extraordinary circumstances beyond human control”.
