Government of Bihar. allots 15 acres of TTD for the construction of Lord Venkateswara temple
TTD Chairman BR Naidu presents ‘maha prasadam’ of Lord Venkateswara to Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chowdary on Wednesday.
Bihar Government has allotted 15 acres of land near Patna for the construction of Lord Venkateswara Temple. The site is located near the banks of the Ganges and is adjacent to the National Highway.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman BR Naidu met Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chowdary and thanked him for the land allotment. Mr. Naidu felicitated Mr. Chowdary with a ceremonial shawl and presented him with a memento of Lord Venkateswara. Bihar Chief Secretary Amrit Pratyay was present.
The proposed temple complex includes the main sanctum, Kalyana Mandapam, Pushkarini and other basic infrastructure for the needs of the devotees. TTD plans to speed up the construction process.
The initiative forms part of TTD’s broader vision to expand the spread of Sanatana Dharma and strengthen the spiritual connection of Lord Venkateswara’s devotees across the country. The Bihar project follows the allotment of 10 acres of land for a similar temple in Guwahati, Assam.
