The last 11 years of Narendra Modi’s government have included a deep blow to the social structure, democracy and economics of the country, the President of the Mallikararjun Kharge congress said on Monday (June 9, 2025).
In the paper on X, Mr. Kharge claimed: “Modi the government has lost the last 11 years in blurring the ink of the dictatorship on each page of the Constitution”.
“BJP-RSS weakened every constitutional institution and attacked their autonomy,” he added.
Congress chief accused Modi’s government of “theft of the mandate of people, overthrowed the rule by the back door, imposed a dictatorship of one party, and weakened the federal structure”.
“The efforts to spread the environment of hatred, threats and fear are constantly developing,” he added.
Mr. Kharge said that the exploitation of Dalits, tribes, back, minorities and weaker sections was constantly increasing, manipur witnesses endless violence and BJP-RSS has become accustomed to maintaining the GDP growth to 5-6% of 8% of growth.
Increasing inequality, unemployment, inflation was the fall of incorrect policies such as demonization, incorrect GST and unplanned lock that influenced the unorganized sector, said Congress chief ..
He added that programs such as Make in India, Startup India, Stand Up India, Digital India, Namami Gange and 100 intelligent cities have failed.
“The railways were destroyed. Only the ribbons of infrastructure carefully built by Congress were shortened,” Kharge said.
Leader Rahul Gandhi pointed out how several people lost their lives in a crowded local train in Mumbai when the government was busy with a celebration of their third term.
“11 years of government modi = no responsibility, no change, only propaganda. The government stopped talking about 2025 and now selling dreams of 2047,” Mr. Gandhi said in a post on X.
The head of the Congress Communication Jairam Ramesh asked why Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not hold a press conference.
