‘Will continue to fight’
Chennithala said at a press conference after the protest: “We strongly condemn the steps against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. This is a large public anger. We organize Congress for two consecutive days against this oppression, including protests across Mahashtra.
He also said that the ruling Alliance in Maharashtra betrayed people’s confidence by forgetting the promise to provide 2,100 GBP within the Ladki Bahin system and instead spread only 500 GBP. “Mahayuti has launched this system purely for votes. Congress has already warned that this program was misleading. Congress soon restructure its state and district committees and organizes a party camp in Mahabaleshwar,” he added.
