Government employees should not be available in favor of Mukhyamantri Maajhi Ladki Bahin Yojana for women, said Maharashtra Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankle.
Some employees of the Government women reportedly benefited from this program, although they are not eligible. “This system is designed for poor women. Those who work in the government and earn on their salary should not use it. Some employees within this system incorrectly took 1,500 GBP,” said Mr. Bawankle on Saturday (May 31, 2025).
In these cases, the government would receive money and some departments have already begun questions, said Mr. Bawankule.
The scheme, launched in the previous government of Bharatiya Janata (BJP), provides eligible women in the Maharaštře £ 1,500 per month.
Mr. Bawankle denied the reported statement of the Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP) Sharad Pawar that some members wanted to combine both NCP fractions. “According to my information, there is no such discussion (among factions).
