The state government seemed to be contrary to the strict opposition campaign that the “heartless delay” in search and rescue operations stood on Thursday the life of Bind, 52, the only death in the partial collapse of the building on the Kottayam Government Medical College Hospital (MCH).
Minister of Cooperation VN Vasavan, who called on Bindu’s surviving family on Friday in Thalayo -Parambramba, told reporters that the news after Mort indicated that Bindu had immediately died. “She suffered a fatal head injury from falling debris,” he said.
Mr. Vasavan described the propaganda of the congress that government uncertainty that no one was under the debris caused the bindu to suffer the persistent death as “mischievously misleading lie”.
He said he acted Binda as passers -by for his daughter Veen, who required expensive and lengthy treatment, including complicated operations when the tragedy hit.
“Free Prices”
Mr. Vasavan said that Apollo Hospital will handle Mrs. Veena for free. The government would provide a temporary job to Bindu’s son. July 11 Cabinet announces the amount of compensation for the Bind family based on the report submitted by Kottayam Collector.
Vasavan quoted the timeline and said ministers and officials had achieved the accident site within minutes of the collapse. He said that the decade -old building lasted a separate journey for emergency respondents. “Firefighters had to cut off the iron barricade to move Earth Movers to a place for search and rescue mission. Any attempt to break through the way through the structure to reach the accident would cause another accident,” he said.
Administration evacuated 360 patients from six departments to a safer block. Both injuries were transported to critical care units. Mr. Vasavan accused the congress and the party of Bharatiya Janata (BJP) of the politicization of the tragedy for the “cheap number of mileage”. He criticized Congress for putting siege in the hospital and blocking an ambulance carrying Bindu’s dead body in her house.
Organ transplantation
Mr. Vasavan also criticized Congress and BJP for trying to suppress the reputation of a hospital that was at the forefront of organ transplantation and cardiotoracal operations in the country. “The MCH transplantation costs only 3 lakh compared to 50 lakh charged with corporate hospital,” he added.
He also criticized Congress and BJP for the allegedly disparaging hospital superintendent TK Jayakumar. “Dr. Jayakumar, the winner of the Kerala Shree and the prize for the best doctor of the state government, performed more than 2,000 heart operations, including the valve exchange. It is helpful in implementing a project for the development of hospital 526, including 14 surgical theaters, eight super special theaters and more than 500 beds,” said Mr. Vasavan.
