Six years after his son and leader BJP Gunjan Kmek was killed, the famous businessman Gopal Khemek was shot near Gandhi Maidan in the capital of Bihar around 11th July by unknown miscreants, Live Hindustan said.
Police renewed one bullet and shell from the crime scene and started the investigation, the report added.
The incident occurred on Friday evening, when Miscreants launched fire on Goopal Khemek as soon as he got out of his car near his apartment in Raghuram Chowk in Patna.
“On the night of July 4, around 23 pm, we received information that the entrepreneur Gopal Khemek was shot in the southern region of Gandhi Maidan,” said live Hindustan SP Patna, Diksha, said.
“The crime has been ensured and another investigation is being carried out … One shot and one shell were obtained,” she added.
It’s not the first incident:
Although it is not the first murder in his family. Also in 2018, his son Gunjan Khemka was murdered in a similar way in his factory for a bandage in Hajipur. Then he was the leader of BJP and Bihar’s State Congressor Small Industries Cell.
Even the younger son of Gopal Khemek was shot.
Meanwhile, Bihar DGP Vinay Kumar ordered to create a network to probate the case, and the central SP diksha is guided.
After the murder of Khemka, his wife and family members reached Patna.

The main Minister Bihar Nitish Kumar chaired a meeting on Saturday to review the situation and order in the state after Gopal Khemek’s death, the officials said.
Kmek’s death was also discussed at a meeting in which Bihar DGP Vinay Kumar and other police officers took part.
“CM stressed that the rule of law is the highest priority for the NDA government and warned against strict measures against police staff in the event of negligence,” the statement issued by the Chief Minister said.
“He also ordered the officials concerned to first complete the investigation of Khemka killing,” he read the statement quoted by News Wire PTI.
