London Yoga enthusiast Jamie Meek has just wrapped an unforgettable trip to Gujarat with his partner Fiongal Greenlaw-Meek when the couple shared a series of Instagram stories that captured their last night in India.
In a shared late Wednesday evening, Jamie remembered her “stunning” experiences and described her time in India as a “magical experience” when he was thinking on their way. “It’s our last night in India,” he wrote, describing his stay in House of MG, Hotel Heritage in Ahmedabad. “This hotel,” he looked at the real estate.
Jamie, who is also the director of the Wellness Foundry, the London Center for Tarot and Spiritual Wellness, said he would spend his last night at the hotel and enjoy traditional Gujarati Thali’s “perfect way to reject the way”.
“There were too many … it would be so nice to remember and share it with everyone, because we were really on the way,” he said in one of the stories. “We just had the tastiest food Thali. It was a perfect way to reject a trip. So yeah, excited to actually share everything with you.”
In the next Fiongal video, he added: “So it’s our last night in India. Uh and we had a magical experience. It was, yes, yeah, there was some quiet mind … The mind was blowing … We put it all together and create a vlog.
On Thursday morning, just before the flight Air India AI171 from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick, Jamie published the last story: “Goodbye India …”
In a video recorded at the airport, a few joked about their journey:
Fiongal said, “We’re at the airport, just getting on. Goodbye India.”
Jamie replied, “Goodbye. It’s a 10 -hour flight back to England.”
Fiongal then asked, “What is your biggest with you, Jamie?”
Jamie replied, “I’ve already done it.”
Fiongal insisted on “for another thing.”
Jamie replied, “What is my biggest with me … I don’t know.”
Fiongal joked: “Yeah, fascinating, great. Thanks for your post (laughs). My biggest with you is not to lose patience with your partner.”
Jamie added, “You’re starting. You’re already when we have Chai at the airport. You see you haven’t learned anything.”
Fiongal closed with a smile: “He returns happily, happily, happily calm.”
Air India AI171, which took off around 13:30 from Sardar VallaBhbhai International Airport, crashed minutes after take -off with 242 people on board. While official confirmation is expected, sources claim that there were no survivors.
