Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday said that Good Friday embodies the supreme sacrifice of Jesus Christ for humanity and serves as a timeless message of love, compassion and forgiveness.
Mr. Jagan noted that the life of Lord Jesus Christ is an enduring symbol of selfless sacrifice. He described Good Friday, the day of the crucifixion, and Easter Sunday, the day of the resurrection, as defining moments that changed the course of human history. He emphasized that values such as love for neighbors, compassion for the needy, forgiveness of adversaries, patience and a selfless life are the central points of Jesus’ teachings.
On the occasion of Good Friday and Easter, several Christian religious leaders and pastors from across the state met and greeted Mr. Jagan at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli. They offered special prayers for peace, harmony and prosperity for the people of Andhra Pradesh and conveyed their blessings.
He also greeted the Christian community and wished every family to be blessed with happiness, good health and prosperity.
