On the sixth day of Karthika Brahmotsavam in Tiruchanur, the idol of Goddess Sri Padmavati Ammavaru, decked in the garb of Lord Krishna, was taken out in a procession at Sarvabhoopala Vahanam on Saturday morning, offering a divine spectacle to the devotees. They also enjoyed various forms of folk art performed in front of the vahanam.

Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal, Chief Vigilance and Security Officer KV Murali Krishna, Tiruchanur Deputy Executive Officer P. Harindranath, temple priests Babu Swamy and Srinivasa, Charyulu and thousands of devotees attended
Around 16 troupes comprising nearly 300 artists performed Chandamelam, Kanjeera, Kamsale, Bihu, Kolatam, Drums, Lezim and other folk dances in an impressive display. Amid Govinda’s chants, the goddess blessed the devotees along the four Mada streets of the temple. Vahana seva was held from 8 am to 10 am and devotees offered coconuts and camphor aarti during the procession.
As part of the Brahmotsavam, the Goddess idol was later taken in a procession to the Swarna Ratham on Saturday evening from 4:20 PM to 5:20 PM Garuda Seva followed from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM in a grand manner.
