Sanehalli Talalabal Mutt Sri Panditaradya’s Sanehalli Talabali called Members of the Lingayat community members to record their religion as “Lingayat” after mentioning the “others” in the religion column in the state.
On Friday evening, he spoke in a public position organized as part of the “Basava Samskruti Abhiyan” in Dharwad, attended by many fortune tellers Lingayat from various mutts from the whole state. “There is some confusion among community members. He worked out the life and contribution of the Basavann social reformer, whom he described as the founder of Lingayat religion, and said that the campaign was held throughout the state to raise awareness of the ideology of Basavann and other “Vachanakaras” of the 12th century and the values that promoted.
“However, the success of the campaign gives sleepless nights some in the state who makes incoherent notes and charges. But all Lingayat’s age focuses on social reforms with devotion and determination. Some of them change their colors such as chameleon and their clothing.
Sending notes that the campaign was financed by the state government, he said that the hangers on stage contributed money from the relevant Mutta along with the contribution of the community members for the organization of the nationwide event.
Siddarama Swami of Tontadarya Mutt has elaborated on the importance of “Vachan Literature” and Basavanna’s ideology of establishing an equality society. He said that because of his consistent efforts, more people have now learned about Basavann and his contribution to the world.
Previously a lecturer on the writer “Addiction Free Society” HS Anupama dwelled “Sharan Path”, the 12th century Sharanas, which confirmed the concept of Kayak (work).
Many fortune -tellers including MALLIKARJUN SWAMI, Ganga Mat, Nijagunanand Swami, Imadi Siddarameshware Swami, Basavaling’s Swami and others were present. On this occasion, a book on “Historicity of Anubhava Mantapa” was released.
