
On Saturday, the fourth ceremony of Sri Satya Sai University for Human Excellence (USSUHE) Satya Sai Gram was held in the Chickaballapur district. During convening, 31 gold medals were won, including eight PhD scientists, eight postgraduate (PG) and 15 university students.
Of the 23 gold medals awarded to UG and PG students, 16 won girls and seven boys. The dose consisted of 111 students, of which 77% are girls, 23% are boys, 62% of first -generation graduates, 27% of the first generation students, 77% come from families below poverty and 40% come from rural areas, according to the university.
The university awarded the honorary doctorates to six success, including Sitaram Jindal, the founding chairman and CEO of Jindal Aluminum Limited; Anil Kakodkar, Indian nuclear physicist; BN Narasimha Murty, main mentor Sri Satya Sai Loka Seva Gurukula Group by institutions; Prakash Padukone, former Indian badminton player; Singer for playing Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam and Ja Chowdary, founder International Startup Foundation (ISF).
