Martina Navratilova speaks
Tennis legend Martin Navratilova strongly responded to the incident on X (formerly Twitter).
“Women and girls are punished no matter what they do in this misogynist world …” he wrote Navratilova.
She added, “Feminists never asked for it. At least not the vast majority of us… never.”
“Stop blaming women”
Navratilova responded to the growing debate on X (formerly Twitter) and stressed that women are unfairly focused on protesting rules that she did not create.
“Stop blaming women of this. Women do not take rules,” she replied to the post of social media user.
“Most women are also against it. Women are punished no matter what they do.”
Athletes face the risk of prohibitions
Navratilova, which deals with the consequences faced by athletes who refuse to compete according to current regulations, added: “Because non -competing can ban you from sport. The rules must change and most men.”
“The world is misogynist”
In the wider criticism of gender dynamics in sport and society, Navratilov continued to take another answer to the user’s comment: “The world is misogyn, the world is patriarchal, and most of the rules are made by men. And all danger comes from people.”
Criticism of democrats
Navratil’s repeatedly criticized a democratic legislature for not making the protection of female sports. At the beginning of this year, she condemned democrats for blocking women and girls in sports.
“I hate the democrats completely failed women and girls in this very clear question that female sports are only for women,” she said.
Called for a stronger action and urged, “Grow your spine.”
Response to a powerful order
Navratilova referred to the executive order “No Men in Women Sport”, which was signed in February. She said that the Democrats did not support similar efforts.
She asked democratic priorities and asked, “What are the Dems willing to give up men who identify themselves as a transit … Constitution… rule of law… This is just for the beginning…”
The ongoing debate in the sport
The incident and Navratilov’s comments are reigning the ongoing national debate on Transgender’s participation in female sports – a debate that continues to distribute public personalities, legislators and athletic communities throughout the US.
