On June 2, it will be held at the “Pravesanolsavam” level in Kozhikode “Pravesanolsavam” for the upcoming academic year.
On Monday, May 26, there was an official meeting to review the preparations for the re -opening of the school. The district collector Snehil Kumar Singh ordered police officials and excise taxes to monitor institutions where a high number of cases of addictive substances and clashes between students were reported.
Maniyoor, Deputy Director of Education (DDE), told the meeting that he would accept more than 60,000 new students this year. He said 93% of the textbooks were distributed. Fitness tests of school buildings have been completed, except for those who are within Kozhikode Corporation.
The meeting decided to explore the quality of drinking water in schools and reduce trees that represent the threat to the safety of students. Committees created against the abuse of addictive substances would soon meet. Awareness and training would take place for school buses. All chefs involved in the noon dining scheme were provided by health cards.
Meanwhile, Mr. Singh ordered DDE not to open schools again within the corporate limits, as the buildings should still get their fitness certificates. The government previously asked engineers in the relevant local bodies to see the condition of school buildings and vehicles with regard to strengthening the southwestern monsoon.
They were also ordered to take steps to chop trees from the premises if they pose a threat to the safety of students and school staff. However, it was emphasized that officials were attached to the Kozhikode corporation corporation did not investigate buildings in the local authority and still had to provide fitness certificates. Their counterparts in other local bodies have already provided documents.
DDE told the meeting that corporation officials deny certificates and quote stupid reasons. Official sources said that schools would only reopen the corporation limits if the fitness certificates were provided within 2 June.
