In the middle of speculation on the rift on the side of the leader Senior Bharatiya Janata (BJP) Dilip Ghosh met with the newly appointed President of the BJP of the Symphry in Salt Lake in Bharatiya Janata and before 2026 election elections.
When he talked to Mediaperons, Mr. Ghosh said he would drive a party teaching like any other worker. “He (Samik Bhattacharya) is a leader. I have great respect for him. All the old BJP staff are with him,” said former state President BJP.
The meeting assumes importance, because Mr. Ghosh was missing at several party events, including the public sessions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Interior Minister Amit Shah. It launched speculation that Mr. Ghosh, the most successful BJP president in the state under whose leadership of BJP won 18 out of 42 Lok Sabha seats in 2019 in 2019.
On Tuesday, Mr. Ghosh said he gave the slogan ‘unishe half, Ekushey Saaf (half in 2019 and clean in 2021)’. “Although we could win almost half of the seats in 2019, in 2021 we could not beat TMC. We hope to defeat TMC under Mr. Bhattachary in 2026,” he said.
No misunderstanding
Mr. Bhattacharya, who described Mr. Ghosha as the “heart and soul” of BJP, said that a single BJP worker should not be omitted in the fight against the Trinamool Congress in 2026. “We are all leaders in our side.
