Three dedicated counters equipped with computers, online connectivity and printers will be set up at each center to facilitate speedy handling of complaints. A reception desk will also be set up to guide taxpayers, provide necessary forms and streamline filing.
Officials have been instructed to prioritize disposal of revision petitions after due verification. Online corrections are made in accordance with the delegation of authority issued earlier by the Commissioner. Zonal and Deputy Commissioners have been directed to assign clear duties to employees and ensure strict adherence to time schedules.
Special attention will also be given to legal cases, with petitioners invited to participate in the program for possible resolution in accordance with court orders and legal provisions.
Daily reports in the prescribed format will be submitted to the revenue department and updated on a centralized monitoring platform. The company warned that delays in processing applications will be taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action.
