The company acquired 103.46 GBPs from 7,881 applicants by 29 March, GHMC said. Within the LRS-2020, a total of 1,07,872 applications were adopted, of which letters of fee for 59,564 applicants were generated by a 25% discount if the fee is paid by March 31.
GHMC officials said that a large number of candidates have been approaching corporation in the last week, indicating a rush at the last minute. They said there was no intimation of the extending of this deadline. After March 31, applicants will have to pay a full fee without a discount, they said.
The government introduced changes to the regularization system of layout more than a month ago and provided 25% discount on regularization fees and open space fees for eligible applicants.
The Government also provided applicants the opportunity to pay for open space fees at the time of obtaining a building permit. However, such payments would not apply a 25% discount.
With regard to the deadline within two days, the government announced that the LRS fee will be adopted on 30 and 31 March, through its holidays.
At the state level, 3,25,538 applicants paid by March 28, another community from the Ministry of Administration of the Municipal Administration said. Of the total number of 25,67 107 applicants throughout the state, more than 20 lamps were issued, he said.
