Genrobotics, the developer of Robotic Scavenger “Bandicoot”, launched a legal proceedings against the start-up Solinas Integrity PVT LTD based in Chennai for alleged violation of the patent into its proprietary technology.
Genrobotics, which holds patents on its robotic cleaning technology, has initiated legal proceedings to protect its mental property. The case was admitted to hearing and is currently in court consideration, Genrobotics said on Wednesday.
Legal disputes concern the development of the Solinas’ homosep Sewer Robot, which claims that applications for applications include technologies and concepts that are “basically similar” to those that are protected according to the current Bandicoot patents.
The company stated that these “similarities” raise serious issues regarding the potential unauthorized use of its proprietary technology. “However, ninthotics agreed to explore the possibility of settlement through the mediation in this matter, as proposed during the hearing on April 21, 2025, before the High Court in Delhi,” he said.
“Given that the matter is now a subordinate judge, the company will delay other public comments and will wait for the outcome of the legal process,” he said.
