Changing attitudes for genders must start at home and programs awareness of women’s contributions in the family should not be determined separately, but should be extended to a wider society, an anandi sex expert said.
At the “Kudumbashree’s Interventions for Equality of Women and Men: Options”, which was held as part of the Ente Ceram in Thrissur, she delivered the main speech.
Dr. Anandi emphasized the need to give up from the current norm to limit the programs of sex awareness to women to women. “The real equality begins when the next generation is increased with honesty and household democracy,” she said. She criticized the unscientific beliefs and superstitions that often went through generations and emphasized the importance of instilling scientific mood among women. Kudumbashree staff, she said, have a key role in this transformation.
United stand
Dr. Anandi, who called for a united booth against the dowry and extravagant weddings, appreciated the members of Kudumbashree for violations of stereotypes: “Kudumbashree has shown that women are unable to work – that they are capable of changes manufacturers.”

“Rhythm of Anuyathhra”
The event called “Anuyathhra Rhythm” was organized as part of the joint initiative of the Ministry of Social Justice and the State Initiative for Disability (SID). Minister of Social Justice and University Education Felilitated the artists and appreciated their courage and creativity.
The performers from the districts decorated the stage with living cultural displays. Artists were selected through the screening process of talent fest for youth, specifically from the category of individuals with more than 40% disabilities.
