For the first time, the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has introduced a QR code system to help people locate the nearest vaccination centre. The national pulse palsy program will start from Sunday and the code is available on the GBA website.
The program will be implemented by 145 project units within GBA in cooperation with various organizations. A total of 4,452 vaccination cabins will be in operation, of which 3,391 are fixed, 601 transit teams and 460 mobile teams. Nearly 18,000 vaccinators and 881 supervisors will cover more than 28 million households and more than 11 million children aged 0-5, including more than 4.6 million children in 1,349 slum areas and nearly 12,000 children in migrant communities.
