On average, 1.7 lakh households in the Grage Bengalurur Authority (GBA) are covered daily by teaching by social-economic survey.
M. Maleshwar Rao, the main commissioner of GBA, said that the goal is to cover 3 lake households daily, because the Karnataka government set 19 October as a deadline for completing a GBA survey.
“A total of 46 lamp houses are estimated and almost three lakh houses were covered on Tuesday evening,” said Mr. Rao. The absence of enumerators, however, slowed initial progress.
According to Mr. Ra, 26,000 components were identified, of which almost 5,000 were granted exceptions for medical or serious personal reasons. About 18,000 enumerators reported to the service on Tuesday, while about 3,000 must join.
“About 3,000 enumerators still have to apply for service. We sent them four times, followed by announcements and disciplinary measures,” said Mr. Rao.
When Mr. Rao asked the enumerators that were published in distant areas, which required everyday travel around 30 km, he explained: “The use of the preferred departments that formed the basis for deployment.
To increase the participation of citizens, all City Corporation Commissioners will organize meetings with residents of Social Security (RWAS) to emphasize the importance and advantages of the survey. In addition, Bengalur residents received messages containing links to the exploration questionnaire, allowing them to complete it online. “This data will help the government in several ways, including planning the formulation of policy and social security planning,” Mr. Rao pointed out.
The answer to concerns about shoes lasting voter ID, Munish Mourdgil, Special Commissioner (Revenue) has explained that respondents can skip the voter ID if they want it, even if Aadhaar is mandatory.
He also added that the populations of migrants are also listed on the basis of their willingness to help record data of migrants.
