Greta D’Mello, a senior citizen suffering from pneumonia, has repeatedly complained to civic association officials about the pigeon menace caused by constant feeding near Johnson Market. At least ten residents in her apartment complex are seniors with health problems. But central corporation officials turned a deaf ear to her neighborhood’s concerns.
Ms. D’Mello was among more than 50 citizens who attended a public meeting held at the Bengaluru City Central Corporation headquarters on Thursday. “At least now that the Chief Commissioner is listening to our problems, some change may come with the launch of the event,” she told The Hindu.
