When India is preparing for 2. Test against West India in Nový Delhi, head coach Gautam Gambhir expanded a special gesture to the team. India learned today that Gambhir invited the whole team together with all members of the Supporting Personnel for dinner in his residence in New Delhi 8 October.
With the second test, which takes place in his hometown, Gambhir decided to host players for the evening of relaxation and gluing before immersing back to what he promises to be a busy step in advance.
India has had a hectic schedule in recent weeks. The T20i party ensured what the controversial crown of the Asia Cup was. Then many stars on the side joined the test side that crushed the western India shifts and 140 runs in the first test in Ahmedabad. On the same day, BCCI announced the Indian units ODI and T20i for the upcoming Australia tour.
This series, scheduled by the end of this month, includes three ODI and five T20is. In the middle of the packaged calendar, Gambhir’s invitation to dinner comes as a perfect opportunity for the team to relax and strengthen the friendship before the Delhi test, which starts at the ARUN Jaitley 10.
According to sources, the Indian test team will participate in afternoon training at the ARUN Jaitley 8 October. After training, players and support staff will head directly to Gambhir’s residence for dinner organized by a coach.
The Indian party is currently undergoing the main transition phase. SHUBMAN GILL was recently announced as a new Indian Captain Odi, replaced by Rohit Sharma. Although Rohit and Virat Kohli were appointed in the ODI group for the West Indies series, the change means the beginning of the new era. In the first test against West India, India completely dominated driving across departments. On the bowling front, Mohammed Siraj Standout was an artist and took seven goals in the match – four in the first shifts and three in the second – to pack the commanding victory.
