At least two Ganesh Chaturthi Panly, who re -established instead of 12 June Air India Crash, triggered criticism online for being “disrespectful and disgusting”. In Nagpur, Pandal, a 3D model of aircraft stuck in the entrance gate, symbolizing the Air India, which crashed into a hostel in Ahmedabad, killed 12 crew members and 229 out of 230 passengers on board.
Meanwhile, Pandal in Ahmedabad re -created the place of accident in striking details, including burned buildings and rescue workers who reached the scene in minutes after the tragedy. The video of this pandal has already exceeded 9 million views on Instagram, while the Nagpur Pandal clips have also become a viral.
Who criticized Panly?
Aviation analyst Vinamra Longani condemned this topic as “Beyond dislike”.
“Ganpati pandal thematically around the @Airindia crash is not creative. It’s deeply disrespectful to victims, their families and the entire air community,” Longani wrote on X.
How does the organizers defend the topic?
The Nagpur Pandala organizers in Jaripatka prevented their selection and claimed that it was more symbolic than shocking.
“We wanted to honor those who lost their lives and also reminded people that even in the disaster, faith shows the way forward,” said Mandal Times from India. “The contrast of the debris outside and Bappa’s Call Inside represents strength and continuity.”
What do social media users say?
Many social media users killed pandas using one of the worst Indian air tragedies.
“The matter of complete shame. The Nagpur authorities should take strict steps against it,” wrote one X user. “Everything that can be used for content seems to be … disgusting,” another commented.
“Did we really become so insensitive that we can’t recognize devotion from the tragedy?” asked the user.
“This is no kind of topic! Many families have lost their loved ones in this tragic incident, it can hurt it,” he wrote another on Instagram.
