In the tragic incident during Ganpathi Visarjan in Mumbai 6. September one died, while five others were injured because of the electrical floor, Bihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) reported. During the immersion of the idol, the live wire touched the idol, which with an electric current of 6 devoted. The deceased was identified as a 36 -year -old bin Sukumaran Kumaran.
BMC said: “During the processing of immersion, the electric wire hanging from Ganpati’s idol touched the idol, which made 6 devotees to the hospital and went to the hospital and underwent treatment.”
According to the PTI report, there was a shocking incident around 10:45 in the morning on the Khairani road in the Sakinaka area when he accidentally came into contact with Ganpati Idol hanging an electric wire.
“Some locals rushed to the injured persons to nearby private medical facilities, and one of them was transported to Seven Hills Civil Hospital,” BMC cited PTI.

Five others who were injured in the incident included Subhansh Kamat (20), Tushar Gupta (20), Dharmaraj Gupta (49), Karan Kanojia (14) and Anush Gupta (6). All of them were hurried to the Paramount Hospital for treatment and their condition was reportedly stable.
