Vijayawada Grp Circle Inspector JV Ramana said that Subhash transports chocolates made of cannabis (Ganja), weighing about 445 grams.
The team led by Elite Anti-Narcotics Group for the head of law enforcement (Eagle) and IGP Ake Ravi Krisho arrested the accused and confiscated Ganja chocolate on Thursday.
During the interrogation, the accused allegedly admitted that he was smuggling chocolate, also known as a “bung” in the local river (Bihar), Chennai. Subhash, a native of Badia in the Darbanga district, operated a tea stand in Chennai.
The accused was made in court and the case is subject to investigation, Ramana told Hindu on Saturday.
