Johnson & Johnson Medtech, based in Coimbatore based in Ganze and Health, joined the Memorandum of Understanding (Mo) 23 April 2025 (Wednesday) under which the latter hospital determined the hospital as the Global Excellence Center in Trauma in Trauma, and arthroscopic operations for training orthopedic areas in Trauma in Trauma Asia Pacific.
S. Rajasecaran, chairman, department of orthopedics, trauma and spine surgery in Ganga hospital, she said this was the first GCOe for traumatic surgery in the world. The hospital was selected as GCOE for various factors, including the volume of trauma, carried out operations and arthroscopic operations and expertise of its experts, he added.
According to the hospital, a partnership will offer a platform for surgeons at various stages of a professional career for the development of training and mentoring. It will cover basic surgical skills for very advanced operations of robotic joints. As part of the initiative, up to 100 surgeons from Asia -Tichoral countries, including Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand, will be trained every year.
