Ganesha Visarjan 2025: When the Ganesha festival takes place with complete celebrations, the Ganesha Visarjan ritual is also performed.
After Ganesha Chaturthi is observed, it is a ritual to dip the idol of the Lord Ganesha into the water.
The 10 -day Ganeshotsav, starting at Ganesha Chaturthi, culminates Anant Chaturdashi. The festival is celebrated in the month of BhadraPada. The last day of the festival is known as Ganesha Visarjan.
Importance
Because Lord Ganapati is again invited, it is important to say goodbye to honor.
Untarpuja (final ritual worship) is performed before the idol is immersed.
Uttarpuja means farewell to Lord Ganesha with proper respect.
Haldi and Kumkum are offered in Uttarpuja. Arati is done and worship ends by offering mantrapushpanjali.

When the idol is used for immersion, it is offered with cottage cheese, inflated rice, coconut and modac.
Upon completion of Uttarpuja, the idol is immersed in running waters.

Ganesha Visarjan is done at Anant Chaturdashi. This year will be carried out on 6 September (Saturday).
Anant Chaturdashi is the most important day for Ganesha Visarjan. In addition to Ganesha Visarjan, Anant Chaturdashi is a very important day to worship Lord Vishnu in anal form.
