The CEO of the Police (DGP) Harish Kumar Gupta asked the organizers of the Ganesh Utsav committee on Thursday, who want to set up pandas in open places in the state to apply for a police permit on the Ganeshutsav.net portal. After verification of applications, the police would provide permission without costs, DGP said in its statement.
“Members of the UTSAV Committee can get the night by using it online. The station officer concerns mandapams, verifies measures and releases the Night by the QR code,” DGP said.
The online system was launched to facilitate the celebrations of a calm, transparent and safe way, added Mr. Harish Kumar Gupta.
