Bazaar Gandhi Shilpa, which contained 150 stalls with craftsmen from 25 states, was solemnly launched on Saturday at JSS Urban Haat in Mysuru.
The MLA for Krishnaraja TS Srivatsa launched a fair, for the first time organized under the sponsorship of the Development Commissioner (crafts), the Ministry of Textile, the Indian Government, the new Dill. The fair will take place by September 21st.
The opening ceremony was attended by K. Dhanarajan, Deputy Director, Commissioner for Development (Crafts), Ministry of Textile, Indian Government, Chennai, as the main guest.
M. Shivananjaswamy, Project Officer, JSS Mysuru Urban Haat; Sabir and Swadeshi, representatives of the service center for craft services, Mysuru; And other dignitaries were present.
Several award -winning craftsmen will participate in the event.
In addition to the presentation of a variety of crafts, JSS JSS Mahavidyapeetha Hospital organized a free medical examination for craftsmen and visitors.
Gandhi Shilpa Bazaar will remain open to the public from 10:30 to 21:00
