School sports and Games Kerala 2025 will take place on the lines of the Olympic Games in Thiruvananthapuram from 21 to 28 October.
Kochi hosted the first games of the Olympics last year.
The games will be attended by nearly 20,000 students who will take place in three categories – under 14, 17 and 19 categories. Children with special needs are also attended by games, Minister of General Education V. Sivankutty and Minister for Food and Civil needs, which GR Anil said at a press conference on Thursday.
At 12 stadiums
Day games will take place at 12 stadiums in Thiruvananthapuram and near the areas.
The main place will be the central stadium in the city. Temporary internal stadiums will be built at the stadium and 12 popular events will be held here. Almost 6,000 students are expected to participate in the central stadium events.
Many events will organize the Department of General Education in Preparation for School Games. The color procession will take place a week before the games. There will be a march of the past in which students will participate, as well as a marching meeting in which international athletes and talents will participate.
The Torchlight procession will start from Maharaja’s College, on a place in Kochi last year and ends at this year’s main place, at the central stadium. Street games and flash MOB will be included in the procession.
Raising the flag, thematic song, brand ambassador, ambassador of goodwill, promo video and games logo will be ready for games.
Thematic song
The thematic song will be selected from those presented by students. Cultural programs will take place during the opening.
Almost 4,500 students, including students with special needs, will participate in the march, which will take place together with the inauguration function.
Students will be built at 75 schools in the city. Buses of these schools and, if necessary, buses of other schools can be used to transport students to the venue.
For students, a huge kitchen and a dining room on the police area, thycaud will be organized. The kitchen also appears at the GV Raja sports school; Pirappancode; Xavier’s College, Thumba; and Kalady.
The organizational committee and 16 subcommittee began to provide for games.
Inclusive event
Inclusive sports events for children with special needs will include two more events – cricket for boys and bocce for girls.
