The Gagarins of Kerala gathered here on Saturday to celebrate the 65th anniversary of their more famous namesake’s historic space flight.
Several individuals from across Kerala bearing the name Gagarin gathered at the Honorary Consulate of Russia here in the state capital for a meeting organized in collaboration with the International Russophile Movement to mark the April 12, 1961 space flight of Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, who became the first man in space.
