
The Theangana government, which launched the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards in honor of the cinema perfection, had its first jury meeting on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by actress Jayasudha.
Dil Raja’s chairman of TELANGANA Film Development Corporation (TFDC) addressed the jury and emphasized the need for justice and objectivity in the selection. He said the prices that were revived after a gap after 14 years received an unprecedented reaction – the scale was not witnessed even on United Andhra Pradesh.
He added that prizes aim to bring recognition at national level to the Teluga film industry and express confidence in the jury that includes experienced experts named by the government.
Mrs. Jayasudha acknowledged the responsibility of the government and assured that the selection process would be solved with determination and sincerity.
TFDC CEO S. Harish said that a total of 1,248 nominations were received at Gaddar prices. Of these, 1,172 are in individual categories, while the remaining 76 falls under feature films, children’s films, debut films, documentaries and short films.
Screening of posts will start from April 21. The jury also discussed the evaluation process.
