Gaddam Vamsi Krishna launches KGF to turn Telangana youth into job creators

Peddapalli Gaddam MP Vamsi Krishna launched the Kaka Growth Fund (KGF) initiative to encourage the youth of Telangana to turn their innovative ideas into successful businesses and become job creators.

At the Kaka NextGen Leaders program held on Wednesday at the educational institutions of Dr. BR Ambedkar in Hyderabad, Mr. Vamsi Krishna interacted with the students and explored their innovative business ideas. He awarded an initial investment of ₹2.25 lakh to the three winning teams – ₹1000 for the first prize, ₹75000 for the second prize and ₹50000 for the third prize.

Inspired by the legacy of his late grandfather and former Union Minister G. Venkataswamy, popularly known as Kaka, Mr. Vamsi Krishna said the initiative aims to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and startup development among the youth. Under the KGF initiative, young innovators will have an opportunity to get ₹5,000 to convert their ideas into viable businesses, he said. He also expressed his commitment to extend the initiative to all districts of Telangana to ensure that talented students from rural areas and small towns get equal opportunities to showcase their innovations and access to support.

The initiative seeks to promote innovation in artificial intelligence, renewable energy, agriculture, technology and sustainability. It will also facilitate mentorship, industry interaction and access to investment opportunities for budding entrepreneurs.
