The Minister of Industry and TG Bharath, said that the government led by N. Chandrababu Naida fulfilled its promise of free Shakti bus for women despite all obstacles.
The Minister together with the district collector P. Ranjith Basha, Chairman of Kurnool Urban Development Authority (Kuda) Somisetta Venkateswarl and others, launched a free program by bus at the Kurnool bus station by offering prayers and breaking coconut. They released tickets for zero fare to women who traveled in the opening bus.
On this occasion, Mr. Bharath said he assigned 8,500 out of 12,500 buses in AP State Transport Corporation for this program. “Although there are several obstacles and restrictions, the main minister wants to conduct a survey,” he said.
Mr. Bharath said that this program was successfully implemented in Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
The Minister said that investment in Melody 10 ₹ Lakh Crore is likely to be carried out in a state that would drive growth and provide jobs for youth.
Mr. Ranjith Basha said that £ 62 Lakh would spend the day in the program itself in the Kurnool district.
In the Nandyal district, the Minister for Roads and BC buildings Janardhan Reddy and the district collector Rajakumari Gania launched this program by issuing tickets for passengers with a zero tariff on the RTC bus.
Mr. Janardhan Reddy said that although they initially planned to offer equipment for travel only in the district, they decided to allow free bus ride throughout the state for women’s comfort. He said they had already given orders for new buses to fulfill the demand for the system.
He said that small sellers, low -income employees and girls students studying at far places will benefit from this program.
As part of the opening system in Anantapore, Minister of Finance Payyavula Keshav, Anantapur Urban Mla Daggubati Venkateswara Prasad and others traveled on the RTC bus together with women and interact with passengers.
