The local communities around the Koller lake have intensified their demand for their livelihood and immediate return of government policies perceived as harmful to their existence. The leaders and activists urge the government to reduce the level of the lake contour from 5 to 3. Outline, which is decisive for environmental protection and the livelihood of thousands that depend on the lake.
The Association of Agricultural Association Andhra Pradesh Rythu Sangham, Andhra Pradesh tenant and Andr Pradesh Agricultural Union for agricultural workers together organized a conference on Koller on Koller issues on Thursday.
The conference adopted several resolutions, including the demand for the abolition of the government order (GO) 120, which the inhabitants describe as a loop around their neck and their heads hanging a sword. GO strictly limited the traditional rights of local communities to use land and water, and the conference felt. (Andr Pradesh released Mrs. No. 120 in 1999 to protect the lake from degradation and deterioration. The lake declared a bird shrine under the provisions of the 1972 wildlife protection Act.
The speakers emphasized the need to restore 146 fishing companies established in the 70s and return to justified recipients assigned to 14,800 acres of the allocated land. They demanded that the assembly be adopted by a new resolution on the coller and present it to the Center and the Supreme Court. They also demanded measures against pollution from nearby factories and implementation of rural employment warranty in affected areas.
The speakers criticized the government to provide compensation, employment and basic equipment such as roads, drinking water and electricity to Koller. They also called for download of the Ecological Zone (ESZ) in the Koller area and stated that it was harmful to the local population and impractical in its current form.
