Almost a month after panic buying disrupted fuel supplies in Hyderabadlong lines of vehicles spilled into traffic on major roads and on Monday morning (April 27, 2026) several gas stations across the city again witnessed temporary closures as outlets struggled to cope with the sudden surge in demand.
Meanwhile, the Telangana Civil Supplies Department has released data stating that fuel stocks remain sufficient to meet the daily demand. According to the supply status report issued by the ministry, a total of 7,443 kiloliters (KL) of petrol and 11,081 KL of diesel were supplied through Telangana on Monday, April 27. The total delivery thus amounts to 18,524 KL by 16:00.
