Fuel prices in Bengaluru saw another hike on Saturday (May 23, 2026) after oil companies hiked petrol and diesel prices for the third time in eight days. Prices across all fuel variants have been hiked by an average of 90 paise per litre.
With the latest revision, petrol price in Bengaluru is now ₹108.09 per litre, up from ₹107.14 on Friday (May 22, 2026). Diesel prices also rose to ₹95.99 per liter from ₹95.04 per litre.
This is the third increase in fuel prices in May. Oil companies had earlier on May 15 revised prices upwards by around ₹ 3 per litre, followed by another hike of 90 paise on May 19.
With price hikes expected to soon hit sectors dependent on transport and logistics, the hotel industry has warned that businesses are running out of room to absorb rising costs without ultimately pushing up prices for consumers.
