FSSAI alert on problems of Dr. Reddy’s, Nestle Health Science

The food regulator has announced action on social media against companies for inappropriate advertising and claims for the product “CELEVIDA GLP” on e-commerce platforms. The regulator said claims printed on packaging such as muscle strength, immune support and energy metabolism could potentially mislead consumers about the product and its health benefits.

According to the regulator, “the product was found to be advertised as a ‘high-protein support for muscle preservation during GLP-1/GIP therapies’, with claims linking its consumption to GLP-1/GIP therapies and muscle preservation.”
