Aakash Chopra said that the frustrated Rishabh Pant is not something LSG wants to enter a fundamental point in the playoff race. LSG will face SRH and Need to win all the remaining three games have a chance to get to play -off.
However, their record signature, hinge, did not have the best in IPL 2025. Chopra on his YouTube channel pointed to PBKS in Dharamshale when the hinge got mad when he came back to the pavilion.
The former cricket said that pants are a good player, but this year the competition was not successful.
“My focus will be focused on Rishabh Pant. He is a good player, there is no doubt, but the truth is that he failed well this year. It is also true that he was very animated as the captain in the last match before IPL,” Chopra said.
“No captain you want”
Chopra said that Pant looked very disturbed and frustrated, and this is not the captain of LSG at this point when trying to get into the play -off. The former cricket feels that anger and frustration were visible from the LSG captain and it is not a good thing.
“It seemed to be very disturbed and frustrated. This is not the captain you want, the one who looks frustrated on the ground. You and I will never know what is happening behind the scenes. One should not know from the captain’s face that he is angry, but anger was visible, which is not a great thing,” Chopra said.
LSG will face SRH at the Ekana 19th Stadium 19 May.
