Fresh from agreeing to a sudden two-week ceasefire with Iran, US President Donald Trump launched a scathing attack on prominent right-wing political commentators on Thursday, accusing them of supporting nuclear-armed Tehran.
In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump pointed his guns at former allies-turned-vocal critics, including Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens and Alex Jones, calling them low-IQ “losers” who are trying to hijack his movement for cheap publicity.
“I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years, mainly because they think it’s awesome that Iran, the number one state sponsor of terror, has a nuclear weapon — because they have one thing in common, low IQ. They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it on his Trumpic, Truth Social, and everyone else knows it.”
“Look at their past, look at their record,” Trump continued, saying they lack what it takes and mocking their current business.
“They’ve all been kicked off TV, lost their shows and not even invited on TV because no one cares about them, they’re NUT JOBS, PROBLEM JOBS and will say anything needed for some ‘free’ and cheap publicity. Now they think they’ll get ‘clicks’ because they have third-rate podcasts, but no one talks about them, and their opinions in MAGA are the opposite — or I’d win LANDSLIDE (sic),” the US president wrote.

Trump is getting personal
The US President also took very personal shots of the individual hosts. He mocked Carlson as a broken man and a hand-waving jerk who needs a good psychiatrist after being fired from Fox News. Megyn Kelly was mocked for her past debate moderation, while Alex Jones was sentenced to forfeiture for his horrific attack on the families of the Sandy Hook shooting victims, a financial meltdown that Trump noted was entirely justified.
Trump took his grievances international and attacked Candace Owens for her controversial claims regarding the first lady of France. Trump has fiercely defended Brigitte Macron, saying she is a much more beautiful woman than Candace and expressing hope that Macron will win her ongoing defamation lawsuit.

Trump also lashed out at figures like Marjorie Traitor Brown, whom he called many names, saying they would turn ugly when he refused to pay them back because he was simply too busy with international and domestic affairs.
“These so-called ‘teachers’ are FAILED and always will be! Now Fake News CNN, The Failing New York Times and all the other Radical Left ‘News’ organizations are ‘welcome’ and giving them ‘positive’ press for the first time in their lives. They are not ‘MAGA’ Mr. President, they are trying to lose them. my party whenever I want but when they call I don’t return their calls because I am too busy with world and country affairs and after a few cases they are ‘ugly’, like Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown, but I don’t care anymore, I just care about doing something for our country (sic),” Trump wrote.

Trump’s comments come amid expected talks between the US and Iran after negotiators secured a temporary two-week truce just 90 minutes before the US president’s deadline to Tehran on the Strait of Hormuz.
As Washington turns to tense diplomatic negotiations to extend the temporary ceasefire, Trump used the statement to reiterate: “MAGA is about VICTORY and STRENGTH in not allowing Iran to have nuclear weapons. WORLD (sic),” Trump concluded.
