With every decade, elite athletes seem to be faster, stronger and, to say that, better. Power improves and as a result.
However, some records seem different. Regardless of the future technological or scientific progress, they feel out of reach and unbreakable. Although this is what many of the NHL Gretzky goals and then Alexander Ovechkin came about the NHL goals.
For 31 years, Gretzky ruled as a versatile goalkeeper in the NHL with 894 goals. That was 39 -year -old Ovechkin from Washington’s capital cities overtaken that a landmark 7th April. Gretzky still holds several records widely considered inviolable – For example, his ridiculous 1,963 career helps.
All of this led us to consider some other records in sports that they are considered unlikely to be violated. Could they be beaten one day, or are there any records that will remain in historical books forever?
Football
The farthest target: 96.01 meters (104.9 yards)
Whether intentional or not, in January 2021 goalkeeper from Newport County Tom King – with the advantage of reflection and help wind – scored from the goal kick.
In November 2013, she set a world record after he culminated in former goalkeeper Stoke City Asmir Begovic 91.9 meters (100.5 yards). It would be a lot of taste (and help from the elements) to beat King’s long distance.
The shortest time between two goals: nine seconds
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. It doesn’t take the time before you rattle from these numbers. Incredible that it took only nine seconds for Wycomb Wanderers score twice Against Peterborough United in September 2000.
The first came from a free kick and the second, after the half -time interval, was an excellent solo effort by Jermaine McSsporran, who scored from the excavation. Peterborough United did not touch the ball from one goal to another, which was nine seconds apart in times of games – setting up the new world record.
The highest score: 149-0
The ruling masters of Madagascan First-Tier Stade Olympique de l’myrne (SOE) came into their game against bitter opponents as Adema Salts in November 2002.
In their previous game, SOE felt that they were punished against them, and denied the opportunity to maintain the title because the necessary victory was not provided. Into compound matters, because Adema was crowned champions.
In retaliation, SOE threw another game against Adema as a planned protest against the referee who felt he denied them the title. After winning the ball, they proceeded to shoot 149 their own goals at the speed of one 36 seconds, which the kind of dramatic television would be proud of.

Gold Medals: 23
Michael Phelps could hurt his neck if he wore all 23 of his Olympic gold medals. Six athletes have nine gold medals, including active American swimmers Katie Ledecky and Caeleb Dressel, but they are still not closer to Phelps who won eight gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
It helps that swimmers can compete across different disciplines and at different distances, but no swimmer in history has closed to Phelps in the pool, both in terms of the events in which it excelled, as well as the period when he was at its peak.
Like brilliant, the swimmer is Ledecky, excels only in a long freestyle. Similarly, Dresiel Sprint is a specialist. Frenchman Leon Marchand, 22, who won four gold in Paris last year, has time on his side and talent. But the IS 50m Sprint by swimming events added to the Los Angeles Olympic Plan to make every athlete closer to Phelps’s record, was a phenomenal success.

There was a discussion about the wind speed, which read 0.0 on the track, but on the nearby triple jump equipment was recorded at 4.3 meters per second, but the recording stood and no one has come to California time, its world records in 100 m and 200 m (21.34) still stood today.

In 1988, Steffi had a chart, then 19 years old, the best year in tennis. The German reached the Golden Grand Slam calendar and won all four main tournaments – Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and USA Open – and Olympic gold in the same year.
She is the only player of singles to achieve this performance, and her record is even harder to beat, because the Olympic Games take place every four years.
